Rejoice! and Praise God, for no matter how old or how young you are, you can still praise the Lord!
Acts 2:17 17" 'In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.
God Bless you all.

Hi, I am reading a book called "90 Minutes in Heaven." Have you read it? Oh, you have to! Everyone should! And one of the things he saw in Heaven or rather heard was continuous voices/songs of praise, all singing at the same time, different songs, but it wasn't a cacophony, it was beautiful and accompanied by angels' wings (oh, I love that!) and all the songs were purely praise, they were not sad like Rugged Cross, etc. So, I am going to start singing a lot more praise songs so I can get ready for Heaven and I can add to the voices right now!!
Now that I know what is going on up there!! What a wonderful, wonderful book!!
hallelujah, praise His Holy Name!! Jesus, Name Above All Names, Beautiful Savior, Glorious Lord....Emmanuel, God is With Us, Blessed Redeemer, Living Word!!

I wish I could send this book to both of you....but we have already been thru this...can't figure out how to send things and still make sure you both know you should NOT be giving out your addys in any way, shape or form on the internet! So, I'll just pray God brings the $ your way to get it. Wish it was like the "old days" and we didn't have to worry about such things, but in this day and age, well, I want all young people (and old!) to remember, do NOT share your personal info on the internet!
hugs, mac

Yeah, it is really sad with all of the sickos out to get people. But, thats just natural for a human to think, unfortunately.

I ran into a sicko, just walking to the library...I was walking down past an intersection, and he said hi...I just ignored him thinking he couldn't be talking to me. then he drove past me, turned and came back. he asked if I had a boyfriend, and how old I was. at the time, I wished so much that I wasn't alone. he freaked me out. luckily, he left me alone and I continued to the library. after that, I usually waited till Dad got home and asked for a ride to the library.
this world is getting worse and worse...I wish like you, Mac, that it was like it was in the older days.

wow, that's scary, Kaye...you did the right thing, ignore the guy and get to a public place! I think in some cases, it might be good to report someone like that. The world has always had sickos, though, even in the "old days".... but when I was your age, 40 years ago, I could be more free roaming around and feel safe. I think today, we all have to be very careful and we need to be. I'm glad the guy left you alone, what a creep! shiver!!

I guess thats one of the reasons I don't like being outside much. even though our town is pretty small, there are so many weird people here. this may sound weird, but I felt safer walking in Indy than I ever have here.

Well, God is not the author of fear, we are told. So, we need to trust God and not fear, BUT we need to also always have a sense of awareness of our situations and good old fashioned common sense! Do not walk down any dark alleys at night (or daytime!)...don't talk to strangers and definitely always protect yourselves on the internet, there are so many bad stories out there about that. I have a refrigerator magnet someone gave us that says, "Trust God but brand your cattle." Do you get it?
