you know, I think sometimes we take a lot of things for granted. since I don't feel good most of the time, I hardly go outside anymore. and it shows too, since this summer, I got a sunburn that turned into a "tan", and the "tan" just made my skin look like my brother's skin when it isn't tanned.(since going into JROTC, he hardly goes anywhere without at least a T-shirt, so he has a farmer's tan) kind of scary, lol.
and I miss the outside, I miss being able to go to the ocean without falling asleep(those waves make that very hard, it just lulls you to sleep, lol) and actually being able to swim in it and not get out becuase it tired me out and pay for it for a week.
so, I really miss God's handiwork...when we get to Heaven, I hope we have an ocean. but I guess when we get there, all of this will be like a nightmare...anyway, just take a moment and admire God's creation, and thank Him for it. (no, I'm not a tree hugger or a animal rights activist, just an admirer)

Kaye, I think there will be an ocean in heaven and all the wonderful parts of God's creation will finally be there for us to enjoy without sin/sickness or anything negative. God created THIS present world for His children, but His children disobeyed Him, and they were run out of the garden. when we are in Heaven, all of His creation, I am sure, will be on display in its purity.
Yes, we need to try to stop and catch those fleeting glimpses of God's glory. Even though some are housebound, we can open a window and hear a bird, a child laughing or a mother calling for her child, a dog barking.
There are tons of products that make being in the sun safe now, and perhaps scheduling 15 mins per day to sit outside, even if you live in the city, is a good idea. I don't know about you, but I breathe so much deeper and easier outside. And you can take an umbrella to the beach and fall asleep somehow listening to the waves and children playing and laughing. I agree, there's nothing better! And I don't play in the waves anymore either, but I enjoy walking out into the water and feeling action of the waves and just watching others having a ball. Don't paint yourself out of the picture, dear friends!!
love in Christ, mac

I try not to, but sometimes its hard to try to be a part of something that hardly lets you be a part of it with these conditions...ok, I just confused myself with that, but I hope everyone else understands what I'm trying to say...I do try to get out in the sun, just can't right now, since we have a noreaster(a backwards hurricane, lol) and its really cold and rainy...but I'll try to enjoy that too, since it helps with the heat and mugginess. good thing about cool weather, the muggy air is hardly there, lol
